For Residential appraisals, payment details must be confirmed prior to the inspection date and payment must be processed prior to the release of the report.
For all Commercial and Insurance appraisals, a 50% retainer is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due prior to the release of the report.

For a secure and hassle-free payment experience, you will receive an invoice with a secure payment link sent directly to your email.
E-transfer:
Please send your E-transfer to [email protected] and reference your 6-digit invoice number in the “message” bar. No password necessary as we are set up for auto-deposit.
Cash:
Cash can be collected at the time of your appointment, but please ensure you have the exact amount as our appraisers do not carry change. For the total fee including GST, please contact our office staff before your appointment.
Cheque/Bank Draft:
For cheque or bank draft payments, we require a credit card on file as a placeholder while we wait for the cheque or bank draft to be mailed. The credit card will not be charged unless payment is not received within a reasonable timeframe.

Should you wish to provide your Credit Card information over the phone, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX. Feel free to call us at 250-413-7319, and we will manually process your payment. Please have your card number and expiration date. Note that we do not accept Visa Debit cards.

D. Fritz Appraisals Inc. is an established Real Estate Appraisal company that has been part of the Capital and Cowichan Valley community since 1998. We are excited to announce our company is ready to grow again and are searching for an AIC Candidate Appraiser to join our busy team to expand up-island in Nanaimo and the surrounding area.
The position available will be an independent contract, with a commission-based fee split. The successful Candidate will work under and be mentored by our AACI designated Appraiser. Our small team also consists of a CRA designated Appraiser (owner), three other AIC Candidates, and two Office Administrators. This is a work from home position, with an online virtual office to maintain and encourage communication and teamwork within the company. All computer software will be provided.
Responsibilities Include:
· Perform on-site inspections, ensuring measurement accuracy, taking photographs and data collection;
· Pull comparable sales and assign values to complete appraisal reports efficiently;
· Meet turnaround times to ensure client satisfaction;
· Develop relationships with lenders, brokers, clients, and other members of the public;
· Continuously improve their knowledge regarding cost, market, and valuation trends;
· Abide by all company policies and procedures;
· Attend staff meetings as required.
Qualifications Needed:
· Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets company standards
· Clean Criminal Record check
· A keen interest and knowledge of Vancouver Island’s real estate market
· Registered Candidate Appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC)
· Must have proficient writing skills, be thorough and attentive to detail
